Nicole Ahrenholz, MD
Dr. Ahrenholz is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine and an Attending Physician in the International Medicine Clinic at Harborview Medical Center. She serves as International Medicine Clinic's Education Director for the UW Internal Medicine Residency Program. Her time is divided between primary care of immigrant and refugee patients, teaching and supervising residents, and evaluating survivors of torture through the Northwest Refuge & Care Alliance.
Dr. Ahrenholz earned a bachelor's degree with honors in Cellular & Molecular Biology from the University of Washington. She received her medical degree from Oregon Health & Sciences University, graduating magna cum laude. She completed her internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington before joining the faculty in 2009. Dr. Ahrenholz is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
